Match day two of the BOV Women’s League saw Hibernians and Kirkop United moved joint-first after brushing aside neighbours Tarxien Rainbows making them two wins in as many matches played.

Meanwhile, Mgarr United opened their campaign after last week’s bye with a win over Fgura United.

  • Tarxien Rainbow 0-9 Hibernians

Hibernians earned their second win of the season with a 9-0 rout of Tarxien Rainbows. The Paolites scored with two hat tricks from Dorianne Theuma and Shona Zammit respectively, a brace from Francesca Chircop and a goal from Kayleigh Chetcuti who was scoring her first goal with the Senior team.

  • Mgarr United 5-0 Fgura United

Mgarr United opened their campaign with a 5-0 victory over Fgura United. The goals arrived through Rebecca D’Agostino, Angelique Schembri, Roxanne Micallef, Amber Grech who grabbed a brace.

  • Swieqi United 0-3 Kirkop United

Kirkop United secured their second straight win with goals from Emily Pace, Demi Magrin and Liis Pello enough for them to take a 3-0 win home over Swieqi United.

  • Mosta 1-3 Raiders (Luxol)

Raiders registered their first win of the season after defeating Mosta 3-1 with Leanne Micallef grabbing a brace for the winning side as they earn the three points.
