DIVISION 1 – All three title contenders in division one this season won their respective matches with Kalkara St Joseph and Mosta Horseshoe Bar A winning by the same scoreline of 6-2 against Zejtun Beland Bullseye and Zejtun Juventutis Domus and Floriana Ajax A, whitewashing Bormla Bocci Club 8-0. In the remaining match from this division Gudja POs Bar A and BBugia Cox Sports Club A shared the points in a 4-4 draw. With no changes at the top the gap between Kalkara and Floriana remains of 3 points with Mosta trailing by another 2 points.

DIVISION 2 – Unlike division one this week saw plenty of upsets were none of the top 3 managed a victory. Joint leaders Hamrun Education Bar A and Cospicua Rangers both lost at home. Hamrun losing 1-7 against Floriana Ajax B and Cospicua 3-5 against Senglea M. Conquest. Bugibba Munchies lost their opportunity of taking the lead in this division as they could only manage a 4-4 draw against Mosta Bocci Club. In a match between the bottom two, Gudja POs Bar B claimed all points in a 6-2 against BBugia Cox Sports Club B. After these unexpected results the gap between the leaders and Senglea in fifth place is only of two points so plenty of ups and down yet to be seen.

DIVISION 3 – Leaders Mosta Horseshoe Bar B did not play this week so Bugibba Intercontinental Sun City and Hamrun Education Bar B had an opportunity to close in the gap and they both did not disappoint with Bugibba winning comfortably 8-0 against Mgarr The Hatch and Hamrun edging St Venera Red Square 5-3. The other match from this division ended in a 5-3 win for Mqabba over St Pauls Diamonds.

Maltese player Norbert Attard has once again made local darts history as he managed to reach the last 32 stage of the Winmau World Masters which meant he played live on stage at the iconic Lakeside venue in Surrey, UK. On route to the last 32 match, Attard defeated Shimidzu Takahashi (Gibraltar) 3-0; Josh McCarthy (England) 3-1; Ronnie Roberts (Wales) 3-0 and Barry Lynn (England) 3-2. To highlight that only a couple of months ago Lynn reached the quarter finals stages of the UK Open in which he eliminated world class players such as Brandon Dolan and Gary Anderson to only lose 10-6 against the phenomenal Michael Van Gerwen. At the last 32 stage, Attard was drawn against World number one, Glen Durrant a player who is quoted as favourite to become BDO World Champion in January. Durrant won this match 3-0 with Attard missing a couple of doubles to put a set or two on the board with the experienced Brit taking advantage and claiming victory. Earlier in the week, Attard played in the BDO World Championship qualifiers losing 3-2 early in the competition against ITV darts pundit Chris Mason.
