Ian Grima won the Bidnija Trophy at the Bidnija Shooting Ranges on Sunday 11 September 2016, beating Joe Muscat in the Gold Medal Match with the score of 11/16+2 to 11/16+1.

Subsequent to the semi-finals Ian Grima, Joe Muscat and Jason Sciberras had to compete in a three-way shoot-off for Gold as they all managed 12/16. Grima and Muscat came on top as they both hit their first two targets, however, Sciberras had to settle for the Bronze Medal Match when he failed to hit his second target of the shoot-off.

Sciberras was determined to go on the podium and that is just what he did when he won the Bronze Medal Match defeating Jason Agius, with the fine score of 15/16 to 10/16. Agius’s semi-final score was 11/16.

The other semi-finalists, who did not make it through to the Medal Matches, were Paul Sant who managed 9/16 and Silvio Attard who finished with 7/16.

The Class results were the following;

Class A

1st Ian Grima 46/50
