The fantastic turn out of spectators showing up for the Synchronized Swimming show at St Dorothy’s Pool in Zebbug organised by synchro Malta in collaboration with Sport Malta is evidence of the increasing popularity of this aquatic sport. This show brought together a number of synchro swimmers from the various levels and through a spectacular show entertained the people present as well as helped the girls practice their routines in preparation for upcoming competitions.
The show involved up to 60 Synchronized swimmers from different age groups performing a number of different routines. The groups consisted of swimmers from Level 1,2 and 3 from the Synchronized Swimming Academy, Junior National Team & Senior National Team. Apart from these, a number of beginner swimmers who train with the clubs of Sirens and Birzebbugia as well as girls attending St. Dorothy’s school programmes took part in this show.
