Nazzareno Attard was the overall winner of The Windhagen Trap Trophy organized by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation at Bidnija this weekend. This event was on 125 clays with the top six shooters to qualify for the semi finals and the medal match on another 15 clays each.

Nazzareno Attard placed 1st with 104/125 – 11/15 – 10/15

Silvio Attard placed 2nd with 101/125 – 11/15 – 8/15

Nicky Carabott placed 3rd with 106/125 – 10/15+2 – 13/15

Stephen Vella placed 4th with 105/125 – 10/15+1+1 – 12/15

Paul Formosa placed 5th with 103/125 – 10/15+1

Alvin Vella placed 6th with 103/125 – 10/15+0

Class A 1st Paul Formosa 43/50

2nd Stephen Vella 42/50

3rd Nicky Carabott 42/50

Class B 1st Paul Vella 41/50

In the meantime Brian Galea took part today at The Cyprus International Trap Grand Prix where he managed 24/25, 19/25 and 24/25. This event continues today on anther two rounds.

Next weekend William Chetcuti and Nathan Lee Xuereb will be competing in The Double Trap Event of The ISSF World Cup Cyprus 2016. The trap shooters Brian Galea, Nicky Carabott and Frank Skorfna will compete in the trap event the following week.
