Classic Cars at Mdina

As a fabulous start to the Mdina weekend event, the Valletta Grand prix Foundation is organising a ‘Concours d’Elegance’ at the cathedral square this friday. This celebration of the golden era will feature 38 of the best classic automobiles in Malta.

More than just a car show, vehicles will be judged not simply on condition, but also elegance. A panel of overseas judges will award prizes for three different classes, and the public will vote for the ‘People’s Choice’.

Participants are encouraged to dress in period costume, so a charming ambience is guaranteed. A Jazz band is scheduled to provide musical entertainment.

The show starts at 11am and finishes at 5pm.

Prize giving will take place at 4pm.

There are plenty of restaurants in Mdina, so why not make a day of it.
