Sunday 24th July 2011 was another success for the KMS Bike ride organised by Kunsill Malti għall-isport in collaboration with Malta Cycling Federation, in memory of Cliff Micallef who tragically passed away on 30th July 2009.

Over 120 cyclists, including the cycling fraternity along with Cliff’s wife Shirley, his three children and all his family, friends, the Life Cycle Team and the general public came together for this bike ride.  Ages ranged between 7 and 77 years. 

The ride took off from the car park at the Sliema Ferries at 9:30 am and the route guided riders along the Gzira seafront, towards Msida through Ta’ Xbiex. From Msida they headed towards Valley Road, B’Kara, Naxxar Road, roundabout Bathroom Design, B’Kara Bypass, University roundabout (Skate Park),  Msida, Rue D’Argens (near Msida Police Station) turning towards Paul & Rocco Petrol Station reaching the Gzira seafront and returning back to Sliema Ferries.  All Bikers were back at Sliema Ferries by 11:15am.

This is only one of the bike rides organised throughout the year through the collaboration of Kunsill Malti ghall-iSport and Malta Cylcing Federation.
