Foundation in Coaching 2010 - Friday, February 19, 2010
On Tuesday 9th February, the Institute for Physical Education and Sport in Collaboration with Kunsill Malti Ghall Isport launched for the 6th time the Foundations in Coaching Course. This one semester course starting in February till June is a course which targets all those interested in coaching young athletes and working in the sport coaching sectors. The course focuses on the pedagogy of Coaching and sports science. A good number of applicants have once again enrolled in this course. During this presentation, Mr. Bernard Vassallo, Chairperson of Kunsill Malti Ghall Isport addressed the applicants. Mr. Andrew Decelis, director of IPES and Mr. Ivan Riolo, course coordinator, provided details re courses offered and the programme of study to be followed. A reception for all applicants and lecturers brought this occasion to an end.

I would like to thank you for organising last Saturday's activity which was very well planned and organised . I appreciate every effort that was made for the children's benefit,especially for the security guards at the Barraka, the animator of the knight Alejandro who managed to teach our young son some history and the visit to Kastilja itself .

Keep up the good work. I would defenitily encourage you to plan another similar activity.

I wish to thank you and your team for the BIKE RIDES that you organise. I have been there again last Sunday and it was nice meeting other cyclists.  I’m sure that such activities encourage sports, especially cycling.
